This show is so well-crafted with such beautifully written music, and choreographing for it was such an exciting and fulfilling experience. My experience 'working' (haha, get it?!) on this show was very unique because it was set in the round. This was such a cool stage space to work in because it made the show so immersive and really brought the audience into the performance.

Working on "Working" was such an amazing experience.

"Moving Perspectives" - Spring 2025

This was my first dance concert piece to choreograph. I wanted this piece to immerse the audience into a DREAM STATE.

I've experienced and witnessed that sometimes so much can be going on at once and so many tasks have to be completed that reality starts turning into this overwhelming haze . The object of this piece was to live in and explore that chaotic space.

Grief can hit in a multitude of ways.

With this piece, I wanted to explore the idea of losing sight of reality in the midst of grief. "In This Shirt" is about someone being lost in their own grief, and it tearing their whole life apart.

"Moving Perspectives" - Spring 2026

This piece started out as an assignment to explore energy in my Choreography II class. I pushed myself to take risks and think outside of the box, taking a risk to create an acapella tap piece. After I had my final showing for a grade, my professor asked if the piece could be added to Moving Perspectives, which was in a couple of weeks.

The concept for this piece is being human. We get aggravated, and we try to suppress it. When anger is continually suppressed, it begins to bubble up and eventually we crack, and it all unravells.
